Kayla Alvirez

Kayla was born and raised in Arizona, growing up in a small town called Lake Havasu City. 10 years ago she made her way to Gilbert, Arizona. She started her career as a recruiter in the life insurance and aerospace industries. Recruiting was her passion. She enjoyed being able to help those in need find their new work home. After 6 years in the recruiting world, she entered the mortgage industry as an Executive Assistant where she assisted the Branch Manager and a team of 30 employees for 4 years. When the mortgage industry took a turn, she retrieved her life insurance license along with happily finding her way into the aviation industry here at AirFleet Capital in the loan servicing department.

Favorite Airplane: Any plane I get lucky enough to fly in.

Best Aviation Moment: I love flying, therefore I find most aviation experiences exciting, but there is one flight I will always remember. I was flying out of Austin, TX during sunset. Not only was the sunset view the best, but passing over the city lights as the sun went down was a breathtaking moment that I won’t forget.

Words I live by: Everything happens for a reason.

Where I got my start: I got my start in the finance industry working at Wells Fargo and then later gained more experience entering the mortgage industry. Shortly thereafter I found my start in the aviation industry here at AirFleet Capital.

Outside of the office:  I love to rock climb, love to be in nature and travel whenever I can get a chance. I also love trying new restaurants with great views and spending time with friends, family and animals.
